This region is a place where river, rail, and highway have come together to form the best multi-mode transportation network in the country. Our most obvious natural resource, water, provides industry with a bountiful supply for their manufacturing processes. Our rail network runs north and south through the region from Chicago to New Orleans and our highways are linked to the inter system by the Purchase Parkway.
